13" Fiberglass Veil for Epoxy

This continuous fiber surfacing veil has randomly distributed filaments held together with a light bonded with resin. Unlike other fiberglass veils, this binder is compatible with epoxy as well as other resin systems (polyester, vinyl ester, and polyurethane). The veil is highly conformable, clear when wet out, and useful anywhere a thin layer of resin is needed. Common examples are:

1) Bonding together two layers that cannot be saturated with epoxy, like aluminum (Titanal) on wood.
2) Reducing air pockets between layers, like nylon topsheet on veneer.
2) Adding a clear protective epoxy coating over finish layers, like veneer topsheets.

This fiberglass is 13" wide, and sold by the foot (continuous). Bulk rolls are available.
