This carbide-tipped bevel bit allows you to easily taper your sidewalls with a router. The bit has a 1/4" shank with a 7-degree taper. Bearings run along the edge of a ski or snowboard. For added tuning clearance, the steep 7-degree bit produces a slight step in the sidewall, above the edge. Sidewalls should always be flush to the edge before beveling. Steeper sidewalls are popular on torsionally stiff skis and boards. Sold by the piece.
