Sidewalls & Cores

The wood core of skis and snowboards is designed to handle bending and compression stresses while remaining lightweight. The sidewalls of the core are outer strips that are exposed to the snow in the finished board. Like all of our ski and snowboard materials, our sidewall materials are selected for easy bonding with epoxy resin. Sidewalls are sold by the piece, a pack of pieces, or as a bulk board that can be ripped into multiple strips.
